I have lived here for three years. When I first moved in, the office staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager is the same, the general office staff has changed a bit. They do have strict rules they must adhere to as they are federal government section 42 housing, for low income. That being the case, income restrictions apply and they are stringent about credit, amounts owed to other properties and criminal history. At the same time, rent is reasonable, the apartments are spacious and clean, the grounds are well maintained (if not a little muddy due to over watering) and what I thought was a huge bonus, washer and dryer in every unit and water/sewer/garbage is included in rent. If there is any complaint, it would be the lack of respect shown by other tenants. I have an upstairs neighbor that waters her plants every night and doesn't have anything under them to catch the drips so my deck and my deck chair is always wet so I am not comfortable sitting there in the evenings when the temp cools off (Summer time of course) because I never know when I'm going to be doused with water. She also likes to run her dish washer and do laundry at 1 o'clock in the morning, which can be annoying. There are some parents whose children run up and down the breezeways which rattle the entire building and make a lot of noise inside the apartments. The office staff does send out reminders to be respectful and of what the quiet times are, yet there are those that feel these rules don't apply to them. In those situations, when it's a regular violation, something should be done to remedy the situation. Fines or termination of lease as it is part of the lease agreement that you acknowledge when the quiet time is so as not to disturb your neighbors. So my only complaint is the lack of respect of some of my neighbors and that the staff doesn't seem to be able to do more then just sending a blanket notice to everyone, rather then deal with the offender, especially when it's a regular offense. Other then that, it's a great place to live and if you meet the income requirements, I would recommend living here.
I moved into these apartments at a tough time in my life. The staff was great and made me feel very comfortable. I loved living in these apartments. Yes, it was noisy at times, but so are many other apartment complexes. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. :o)
Overall, I am very pleased to have moved into such an excellent community. My family feels safe here and we love the layout inside our apartment!
Its a nice location and apartment but apartments are suppose to be for ppl who cant afford living in a home and this company does not work with your needs as its actually "suppose" to be for low income people. When you have a fixed income you cannot pay out more then you have and I know of apartments that are just as nice with 2 b Bedrooms that are same price or even a little cheaper.
